Autism: Update on Prevalence, Diagnosis, and Educational Identification

This workshop, offered in conjunction with Colorado Autism Education Week, will provide participants with information about the recent studies from the CDC regarding the prevalence of autism. Information about methods for diagnosing autism and identifying specific problems
will also be presented. Recent recommendations from the Colorado Autism Commission and steps for action will be discussed. Presentations will be aimed at a professional audience including students but content will  not include highly technical language.
