Golden Heart Award Nomination Form for 2011-2012 is attached below!

SEAC is a parent group whose purpose is to strengthen partnerships between parents, the school district and community agencies.  What does SEAC do?

  • Connects parents with other parents for support and information.
  • Connects parents with community agencies.
  • Helps parents create partnerships with schools.
  • Holds monthly meetings with speakers on topics of interest to parents of special needs students.
  • Offers a yearly Special Education 101 Class.
  • Honors 15 people each year with a Golden Heart Award for going “above and beyond” for our special needs kids.

Project Angel Heart is proud to participate in our 16th annual Dining Out for Life® event in 2010. In a single day, the fun, mutually beneficial efforts of Front Range restaurants, enthusiastic diners, and volunteer ambassadors raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit people living with life-threatening illnesses in metropolitan Denver. On April 29, 2010, over 300 participating restaurants will agree to donate 25% of their food sales to Project Angel Heart. Diners simply eat out for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner at participating restaurants. By eating out on Dining Out for Life® day, they support their favorite eateries, enjoy delicious food, and benefit Project Angel Heart, all at once. In 2009, 335 restaurants and over 80,000 diners participated, raising over $340,000 for Project Angel Heart.
